2014 Cross-border E-commerce O2O Summit Forum
The 2014 Cross-border E-commerce O2O Summit Forum had completed On November 2, 2014. Founder of Oceanpayment–Lanny was invited to the meeting and engaged in the forum of “cross-border payment discussion.”
Lanny said that it was not only the logistic issues that blocked the development of cross-border ecommerce, but the matter of cross-border payment, which is mainly the localization of cross-border payment. As it’s known to all, along with the rapid development of its ecommerce and the increasing of its internet penetration, emerging markets such as Brazil and Russia had been paying great attention to by cross-border ecommerce. However, as these countries have their respective local payment methods and the usage rate of credit card in these regions are very low, thus unavoidably leads to a loss of orders because customers cannot find a payment method they are familiar with. Obviously, cross-border ecommerce are the last one who want to confront with such situation.
To help ecommerce companies avoid those loss as well as make those potential order into real payment, Oceanpayment currently offers ecommerce with over 100 payment methods, which covering emerging markets like Brazil、Russia、Australia and Latin America，etc., thus enables ecommerce companies to extend to emerging markets.
